Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual sets out the conspicuity standards for vehicles working on or near the carriageway in the UK. Our TM vehicles meet that spec — full red/yellow chevron livery to the rear, white/yellow chevrons to the front, fitted amber beacons, and the visibility kit needed for highway, motorway and active road maintenance.
No — TM vehicles stay under 3.5 tonnes GVW, so a standard UK Category B licence covers them. Drivers must be aged 23+ with at least two years' licence held. NRSWA / Lantra tickets are the responsibility of the operator, not us — we're providing the vehicle, not the operatives.
Bring your full UK driving licence (card), a second form of ID (passport or recent bank statement), and two recent proofs of address (utility bill, bank statement — dated within 90 days). We'll also run a quick DVLA licence check on arrival.
